A Victorian Egg Cruet, the Cups pierced, and applied with Lion Masks.
A Victorian egg cruet for three eggs, with Lion head and ring decoration, a pierced border on the stand and heavily pierced egg cups, a twisted stem, and an oval handle with beaded decoration, and beading also on the rims of the egg cups top and bottom. Made in London in 1873 the cruet is elegant in style and would grace any breakfast table. The egg cups stand on three small pegs which prevent them from falling when the set is carried. There are some traces of gilding inside the egg cups.
