Enamel and glass pot London 1932
A gorgeous Enamel, sterling silver & glass pot made in London 1932. It would have traditionally been used for items on a ladies dressing table.
The lid is incredibly evocative of the Art Deco period. An Engine turned scalloped shell is overlaid with a royal blue enamel on a sterling silver base (hallmarked to the side.)
The base of the pot is made of cut glass, made of elegantly curved shaped panels.
